Cherry Seraph x Oram Awards
Cherry was commissioned to create a new piece of spatial electronic music that took inspiration from the life, work and legacy of electronic music pioneer Daphne Oram, as part of YSWN's 'Changing Gear'.
The project piece was titled, 'in focus', which explored the role of transformation in sound and self, through the use of Russell's technology. She demonstrated with techniques such as imposing analogue limitations onto digital tech during production, and bringing her classical flute background into an electronic sphere.
This piece was performed twice, in conjunction with Bradford City of Culture 2025 and a tour date for the Oram Awards.
